Mars in Taurus

Modern

Your energy builds slowly and then refuses to quit, which makes you a finisher and a force of pure persistence. The flip side is stubbornness and a temper that, once truly provoked, takes a long time to cool. The growth is bending before you have to break. At your best you out-last everyone through sheer steady will.

Traditional (Hellenistic)

Taurus is Mars's detriment, opposite his Aries house, in Venus's fixed earth. The older authors say a planet in detriment works far from home, here the quick malefic forced to move at the pace of earth: deliberate, sensual, immovable once committed. This is a redirection, not a defect: drive made durable. The gift is staying power and a force that finishes; the cost is a temper that smolders and a stubbornness that will not yield.

Lean inAim the persistence early, before stubbornness sets like concrete.

Watch forDig in on a hill that was never worth the fight.
