Libra is Saturn's The sign where a planet is honored and shows its best, most elevated qualities, even though it does not rule there. The Sun is exalted in Aries, for example., Venus's cardinal air, so the planet of limit is honored here into justice: the discipline of fair dealing, lasting commitment, and balanced responsibility to others. The older authors read exaltation as a planet given honor and strength. The gift is integrity, fairness, and a genius for durable partnership and law; the cost is a heaviness in relationship and a fear of commitment's weight.
