Traditional (Hellenistic)
A hundred-and-eighty-degree aspect sets the two in mutual tension. Between the Moon and Jupiter it externalizes the largeness: hope and generosity drawn through other people, a swing between needing comfort and needing more, over-promising to be loved. Ptolemy counts the opposition among the hard configurations, though here the benefic softens it. The gift is a generous, relationship-seeking warmth; the cost is overextension, restlessness, and seeking in others the abundance one has not found within.
