Vindemiatrix

Vindemiatrix

Vindemiatrix, the grape-gatherer near 9 degrees of Libra, was anciently called the widow-maker. Robson gives it mental concentration and steady focus, but also falsity, disgrace, and a tendency to folly that undoes the work, with risk of loss in widowhood. Brady reads it as the harvest and what is gathered too soon or too late. The gift is concentrated thought; the caution is the misstep born of overconfidence.
