Chart shapes
Splay
A splay chart distributes the bodies in three or more uneven clumps that fit none of the other shapes, so your energy roots in several distinct, strongly held focuses at once. In the Jones taxonomy this is the tripod-like personality, stable on its own irregular footing, individualistic and resistant to being categorized. The gift is robust, self-defined individualism and several deep, purposeful interests held with conviction. The cost is a stubborn idiosyncrasy that can refuse useful structure or compromise. The work is letting your distinct focuses cohere into a whole. At your best you are unmistakably, sturdily yourself, on your own terms.
