Uranus
- Rules
- Aquarius
Uranus is the principle of awakening and freedom: originality, rebellion, sudden change, invention, and the future. It is the urge to break from convention, to liberate, and to become authentically and unmistakably oneself, often through disruption. A modern outer planet unknown to the older tradition, Uranus moves slowly and so is partly generational; in the personal chart it matters most by house and by aspect to the personal planets, where its transpersonal force breaks into individual life.
Lean in — Work consciously with Uranus where it touches your personal planets and angles.
Watch for — Resist Uranus's pull entirely; its force tends to arrive whether or not you cooperate.
